The threatening message was discovered in the CAB’s official email inbox and traced to an unknown sender. Snehasish Ganguly, the CAB president, confirmed the incident and stated that a thorough investigation is underway. He reassured the public that all necessary security protocols have been activated to ensure the safety of everyone present.

Heightened Security Amidst National Alert

This incident occurred during a period of heightened national alert following a recent terror attack in Pahalgam. In response, India launched ‘Operation Sindoor,’ a series of precision strikes targeting nine terror bases in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

Despite the security scare, the match eventually proceeded. Chennai Super Kings emerged victorious, defeating KKR by two wickets in a thrilling finish.
