Tragedy Strikes Maharashtra: Truck Kills Six While Clearing Accident

Beed, Maharashtra – In a horrific incident that has left a community reeling, six people were killed after a speeding truck plowed into them while they were trying to remove a crashed car from a national highway in Beed district on Monday night.
According to officials, the accident occurred around 11:30 pm on National Highway-52 near Gadhi village, approximately 100 kilometers from Beed city. Earlier in the evening, a car driven by Deepak Atkare of Gevrai had veered off the road and climbed over the divider. Locals rushed to the scene to help remove the damaged vehicle.
The Devastating Impact
As they worked, a truck came speeding down the highway and slammed into the group, instantly killing six individuals. One person sustained injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital.
The victims have been identified as Balu Atkare, Bhagwat Paralkar, Sachin Nannavre, Manoj Karande, Krushna Jadhav, and Deepak Surayya, all residents of Georai in Beed.
Search for the Driver
Police are currently conducting a thorough investigation to locate the truck driver and bring them to justice. Efforts are underway to determine the exact cause of the accident and any potential contributing factors.
