Two Friends Attacked in Maharashtra Hotel

In a terrifying incident caught on CCTV, two friends enjoying a meal at a hotel in Maharashtra’s CIDCO area were brutally attacked by three unknown assailants. The incident took place in Aurangabad, Sambhajinagar.

Verbal Altercation Turns Violent

According to the police, the victims, identified as Ashish Vasantrao Pawar and Manoj Mahale, were having dinner when a verbal argument escalated into a violent attack. The assailants, armed with a pistol, beat the victims with kicks and punches before brandishing the weapon and threatening to kill them.

CCTV Footage Leads to Quick Arrest

Thankfully, the entire incident was captured by the hotel’s CCTV cameras. This crucial footage allowed the CIDCO police to quickly identify the attackers. The police swiftly apprehended the three suspects: Kartik Lokkal, Kamlesh Mudiraj, and Jeevan Kurewar. A firearm was also seized from the attackers, and authorities are currently investigating whether the weapon was legally registered.

Police Investigation Underway

“The assailants physically attacked the victims and threatened them with a pistol, creating panic in the hotel. We immediately reviewed the CCTV footage and were able to apprehend the suspects,” said an official from the CIDCO police station.

The police have filed charges against the accused under charges of assault, issuing threats, and violation of the Arms Act. The motive behind the attack is still under investigation.

This shocking incident has raised concerns about safety in public places. Authorities are working to ensure the safety of citizens and prevent future incidents of violence.
