Teenage Sensation! Jaiswal and Suryavanshi Smash Rajasthan Royals’ Highest IPL Partnership
A Record-Breaking Partnership in Jaipur
The Rajasthan Royals are celebrating a new record after a stunning performance against the Gujarat Titans in Jaipur on Monday. Young opener Yashasvi Jaiswal and Vaibhav Suryavanshi put on a show, forging the highest-ever partnership for any wicket in the Royals’ IPL history.
Jaiswal’s Historic Century
The duo amassed an incredible 166 runs for the first wicket. This partnership not only shattered the team’s previous record of 155 runs, set by Jos Buttler and Devdutt Padikkal in 2022, but it also saw Jaiswal achieve a remarkable milestone. At just 14 years old, he blasted his maiden IPL century in a blistering 35 balls, making him the youngest player to ever achieve this feat in the league.
Suryavanshi’s Stellar Support
Jaiswal’s century was beautifully complemented by Suryavanshi’s impressive innings. The pair put on a clinic of aggressive batting, setting the stage for a dominant Royals performance.
