Delhi Weather: Relief from Heat, but Rain and Winds Expected

Delhi Weather Forecast: Rain, Thunderstorms Expected for Next Days
After a day of dust-laden winds, thunderstorms, and much-needed rain brought relief from the scorching Delhi heat, the weather department predicts more of the same for the coming days. Residents can expect light rain, thunderstorms, and gusty winds throughout the weekend.
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), wind speeds could temporarily reach 50 km/h during thunderstorms. Dust-raising winds are also expected in the morning. While this weather pattern will offer some respite from the daytime heat, afternoon temperatures are still expected to remain elevated, ranging between 40°C and 41°C.
The IMD has issued a ‘yellow’ alert for the day, indicating the possibility of inclement weather.
