Singer Shows Support After Deadly Attack
Popular singer Guru Randhawa has decided to postpone all upcoming announcements and releases for the next week as a way to honor the victims of the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu & Kashmir. This tragic event claimed the lives of 28 innocent tourists and left many others injured.
Guru took to his X (formerly Twitter) account to express his grief and solidarity. He wrote, “I am Nation first artist, Not releasing or announcing anything for next one week in respect to the ones who lost lives in #PahalgamTerrorAttack I love my country and will stand united with our people.”
Celebrities React to the Tragedy
Many other celebrities have also spoken out against this horrific act. Sara Ali Khan posted a throwback picture from her Kashmir vacation on Instagram, calling the attack “barbaric brutality” and praying for peace and justice.
Salman Khan expressed his sorrow, saying, “Kashmir, heaven on planet earth turning into hell. Innocent people being targeted, my heart goes out to their families. Ek bhi innocent ko marna puri kainath ko marne ke barabar hai.” (Every innocent life lost is as if the entire universe is dying.)
Shah Rukh Khan, Siddharth Malhotra, Sonu Sood, Anupam Kher, Katrina Kaif, Alia Bhatt, Priyanka Chopra, and Allu Arjun also shared their shock and anger over the devastating attack.

Remembering the Victims
The attack, carried out by Lashkar-linked terrorists disguised as soldiers, took place on Tuesday, April 22nd, afternoon. Witnesses reported seeing two to three men open fire indiscriminately on tourists enjoying the scenic Baisaran Meadows of Pahalgam on horseback. The Resistance Front (TRF), a Lashkar offshoot, claimed responsibility for the attack.
