Diljit Dosanjh Walks Away From ‘No Entry 2’: Creative Clash with Makers
Fans of the highly anticipated sequel, ‘No Entry 2,’ got a surprise this week when news broke that actor Diljit Dosanjh has exited the project. The reason? Reportedly, creative differences.
A Trio of Stars
The film, a follow-up to the 2005 hit ‘No Entry,’ was generating buzz with its rumored star-studded cast. Varun Dhawan, Arjun Kapoor, and Diljit Dosanjh were all reportedly on board to star in the Anees Bazmee directorial.
Creative Disagreement
According to Filmfare, Diljit, despite being excited to work with Varun and Arjun, ultimately couldn’t align with the film’s creative direction. ‘Diljit was very excited to collaborate with Varun Dhawan and Arjun Kapoor. But over the last few weeks, he couldn’t align with the film’s creative ideas. That’s why he’s decided to leave the project because of creative differences,’ a source told the publication.
A New Face for ‘No Entry 2’?
Now, the makers of ‘No Entry 2’ have to find a replacement for Diljit’s role. The search is on, and fans are eagerly awaiting news about who will step into the shoes left by the talented actor.
‘No Entry 2’: A Long Time Coming
The sequel to the Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, Fardeen Khan, and Bipasha Basu starrer has been in the works for years. Boney Kapoor recently confirmed that production will finally begin in October this year.
There are also rumors circulating about actress Tamannaah Bhatia joining the cast. However, fans will have to wait for an official announcement from the makers to confirm these details.
Meanwhile…
It’s worth noting that Diljit and Varun are already working together on another project, ‘Border 2,’ which is headlined by Sunny Deol.
