It turns out that English-speaking commentators often take the top spots when it comes to pay. Leading the pack is legendary Indian batsman Sunil Gavaskar, who reportedly earns a whopping Rs 4.17 crore per season. Right behind him are some other big names: former Australian cricketer Matthew Hayden, England’s Kevin Pietersen, and Ian Bishop, all commanding the same impressive fee of Rs 4.17 crore per season.
Indian commentator Harsha Bhogle isn’t too far behind, raking in Rs 4.1 crore per season. And then there’s Ravi Shastri, the former India captain, who earns Rs 4 crore per season.
