Akram revealed that during the 2012 IPL season, he had a concern about the team’s fatigue. They were scheduled to arrive the day before a knockout match, which could leave them exhausted.

Knowing this, Akram approached KKR co-owner Shah Rukh Khan and made a request. He asked if a private plane could be arranged to ensure the players were well-rested.
