Beyoncé Tickets: A Rollercoaster Ride of Prices

Beyoncé’s Big Tour, Big Ticket Prices
Tanaka Paschal, a 43-year-old fan, was ecstatic when she managed to snag floor seats for Beyoncé’s final California show on the ‘Cowboy Carter Tour’. She and her son had missed the chance to see Beyoncé on the ‘Renaissance World Tour’ a couple of summers back because tickets sold out lightning fast. Some fans even traveled overseas just to catch a glimpse of the superstar.
“I thought I was not going to be able to see her, so I jumped on it,” Paschal said. She paid around $900 for the pair of tickets, but her excitement soon turned to frustration. In the weeks that followed, she watched the prices for similar seats fluctuate wildly – dropping by hundreds of dollars, then surging back up, only to fall again.
“It’s frustrating,” she admitted. “The next time, I’m going to wait until the day of.”
The Ticket Rush for Hot Summer Tours
Paschal’s experience isn’t unique. When tickets go on sale for major summer tours by popular artists like Lady Gaga, the Weeknd, Kendrick Lamar, and SZA, it’s become a frantic race against time. Fans are often advised to act fast during presales offered by artists and credit card companies, or risk missing out completely.
