OnePlus Says Goodbye to Alert Slider, Hello to ‘Plus Key’ on New 13s Phone

In a recent announcement, OnePlus confirmed that the OnePlus 13s will be the first phone to ditch the traditional alert slider and instead feature a new button called the ‘Plus Key’. The company is even going so far as to call it ‘one key to rule them all’.

This new button takes inspiration from Apple’s Action Button found on the iPhone 16 series. Located on the left side of the phone, the Plus Key will primarily function as an alert slider, allowing users to easily switch between different sound profiles like silent, vibrate, or normal.
