RCB’s Winning Streak Continues Amidst Friendly Banter

The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) are on fire in the IPL 2025 season! They secured another win against the Delhi Capitals in New Delhi, climbing to the top of the table. The win was a team effort, with Krunal Pandya and Virat Kohli leading the charge with a fantastic 119-run partnership after a shaky start.

A Captain’s Lighthearted Roast

RCB captain Rajat Patidar, unfortunately, got run out for just 6 runs. But that didn’t stop his teammate Jitesh Sharma from having some fun at his expense! After the victory, Jitesh, asked by coach Andy Flower to speak in the dressing room, praised everyone’s contributions. But when it came to Patidar, he simply said, “Rajat — nothing,” causing everyone to erupt in laughter.

The Banter Continues

The fun didn’t end there. Patidar playfully confronted Jitesh about the comment, saying, “Nothing bol raha hai (he’s saying I did nothing).” Jitesh retorted with a playful jab, “Batting mein kya ukhaada isne (what did he pull off in the batting)?” Patidar, pointing at the “Nothing” logo on his pants (a sponsor for RCB), replied, “Were you talking about this? It’s okay because we won the match today.”

All in Good Fun

It’s clear that this lighthearted banter is all in good spirits between teammates. Patidar even added, “Our rapport is just like that.” While Patidar didn’t have a big score and Jitesh didn’t get a chance to bat, other RCB players stepped up, with Jacob Bethell’s debut six and Tim David’s crucial lower-order innings.

A Big Rivalry Clash Next

RCB’s next match is against the struggling Chennai Super Kings, a tense rivalry game at home. They’ll be looking to maintain their fantastic start to the season and secure a top-two spot on the table.
