A Sweet Moment Between Cricket Stars

It was a night of celebration for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) after their win against Punjab Kings (PBKS) in Chandigarh. But the heartwarming moment that had fans buzzing wasn’t just about the victory—it was about the bond shared between RCB batter Virat Kohli and PBKS co-owner Preity Zinta.

After the match, a video went viral showing Kohli scrolling through his phone and showing something to Zinta. Turns out, they were swapping adorable photos of their children! Zinta confirmed this during a Q&A session on X, writing, “We were showing each other pictures of our children & talking about them!”.

From Teenager to Dad

This sweet exchange also touched on the years they’ve both witnessed Kohli’s incredible journey. Zinta, who’s been with PBKS since the IPL’s beginning, reflected on how much he’s grown. She shared, “Time does fly… When I first met Virat 18 years ago, he was a spirited teenager buzzing with talent & fire – today he still has that fire & is an icon & a very sweet & doting father.”

Kohli’s Stellar Season Continues

Meanwhile, Kohli’s on fire this IPL season. He’s currently leading the Orange Cap race with an impressive 443 runs in 10 matches, including six half-centuries—four of which came while chasing. His crucial 51 runs in Sunday’s match, along with a brilliant 73 from Krunal Pandya, helped RCB secure their seventh victory.

Kohli emphasized the importance of partnerships in T20 cricket, saying, “People, I think, are forgetting the importance of stitching partnerships or going deep into the innings in T20 cricket.”
