Two-time Olympic medallist Neeraj Chopra is gearing up for another exciting showdown at the Doha Diamond League 2025. After finishing runner-up in the Diamond League for the past two years, Chopra is set to compete at the Suheid bin Hamid Stadium in Qatar on Friday, aiming for the coveted title.
Elite Field for Chopra
Chopra will be facing off against some of the world’s best javelin throwers, including fellow Indian Kishore Jena. The field also boasts notable names like Jakub Vadlejch, the 2023 winner, and Anderson Peters, who triumphed in 2024. Adding to the intrigue, Olympic gold medalist Arshad Nadeem of Pakistan won’t be present this time.
Where and When to Watch
The men’s javelin event, where Chopra will be competing, kicks off at 10:15 IST on Friday, May 16. Unfortunately, no Indian television channels will be broadcasting the event live. However, fans can catch all the action on the official Wanda Diamond League YouTube channel and Facebook page.
