Kohli’s Revenge? Rahul Warned Ahead of RCB-DC Clash

Ever heard the saying, ‘Don’t poke the bear’? Well, when it comes to Virat Kohli, that’s especially true. Throughout his incredible career, Kohli has been known to give it right back to anyone who crosses him, whether it’s critics or opponents.
Now, with KL Rahul’s “home turf” celebration after smashing an unbeaten 93 against RCB in Bengaluru earlier this month, former India coach Sanjay Bangar has warned Rahul about a potential Kohli revenge. Rahul’s celebration, where he declared Chinnaswamy Stadium as his own, went viral, and Bangar believes Kohli might just respond with a “Who’s the boss” gesture of his own. After all, the Arun Jaitley Stadium, where RCB will face Delhi Capitals on Sunday, is Kohli’s home turf, complete with the ‘Virat Kohli Pavilion.’
Adding fuel to the fire, Kohli is having a phenomenal IPL 2025 season, currently sitting as the second-highest run-scorer with 392 runs in nine innings. He’s just 26 runs away from snatching the Orange Cap, but Kohli’s focus is likely on securing a win for RCB. The winner of this crucial match will be in a prime position to challenge Gujarat Titans for the top spot and inch closer to the playoffs. Both RCB and DC are tied with 12 points each, making this Sunday’s encounter a real nail-biter.
