Earlier, KL Rahul had shone for DC with an impressive unbeaten 112 off 67 balls. However, Delhi’s bowlers couldn’t maintain the pressure, allowing Gill and Sudharsan to dominate with textbook shots, effectively taking the game away from the Capitals by the halfway point.

This result has major implications for the playoff race. The Royal Challengers Bangalore and Punjab Kings have also secured their spots, leaving just one remaining ticket up for grabs. DC now face a do-or-die scenario, needing to win their remaining two games and hope their net run rate favors them.
