Shocking Discovery in Nalasopara
A 32-year-old catering worker, Ambar Rashid Khan, was found brutally murdered in his Nalasopara home on Monday night. Khan, known to his friends as Guddu Khan, was discovered by a family acquaintance, Bablu Gupta, in a pool of blood with severe head injuries. A bloodstained hammer and a piece of broken tile were found near the body, suggesting a violent struggle.
A Sister’s Concern and a Grim Discovery
Khan’s sister, Chandni, grew worried when he didn’t answer her phone calls around 8:30 pm. She reached out to Bablu Gupta, asking him to check on her brother. Upon arriving at Khan’s residence in the Hindustan Colony building, Gupta found the door unlocked and made the horrifying discovery.
Police Investigation Underway
The Tulinj Police arrived at the scene and sent Khan’s body for a post-mortem examination. A murder case has been registered against unidentified individuals. Police are actively investigating the incident and believe the motive might be linked to a financial dispute.
