BPCL Greenlights 100 MW Wind Power Projects in India

Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) has announced the awarding of contracts for two significant wind power projects in India. These projects are set to add 100 megawatts (MW) of clean energy to the country’s grid.
Two Projects, One Goal
The contracts are for two separate 50 MW wind power projects, one located in Madhya Pradesh and the other in Maharashtra.
Suzlon Energy Limited
will be responsible for developing the 50 MW project in Madhya Pradesh, while
Integrum Energy Infrastructure Limited
will handle the 50 MW project in Maharashtra.
Both projects are expected to be completed and operational within the next two years.

This move by BPCL signifies a commitment to sustainable energy development in India. It aligns with the country’s ambitious targets to expand its renewable energy capacity and reduce its dependence on fossil fuels.
