UP Board 12th Results Out! Mehak Jaiswal Tops, Girls Outshine Boys

The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has finally announced the results for Class 12 exams! The results were declared on April 25th, and students can check their scores on the official UPMSP website (upmsp.edu.in) and results.digilocker.gov.in.

A total of 81.15% of students passed this year, a truly impressive feat! Mehak Jaiswal from Baccha Ram Yadav Inter College in Allahabad emerged as the topper, scoring a remarkable 97.20%.

Interestingly, girls outperformed boys this year. While the overall pass percentage was 81.15%, girls achieved a pass percentage of 86.37% compared to boys’ 76.60%. A whopping 9.77 percentage points separate the two!

The UPMSP Inter exam was held between February 24th and March 12th at 8,140 centers across the state. A massive 56,066 examiners diligently evaluated the answer sheets.

Students who aren’t satisfied with their results can apply for a re-evaluation of their answer sheets. The process for re-evaluation will start soon after the results are officially released.
