A shadow of tragedy has fallen over the family of prominent BJP leader Dilip Ghosh. His wife, Rinku Majumdar, has lost her son, Pritam, also known as Srinjoy, under mysterious circumstances in Kolkata’s Newtown area.
Police Investigating Possible Suicide
The 28-year-old was found deceased, prompting an immediate investigation by the Techno City police station. Initial assessments by the authorities suggest suicide as a possibility, but a thorough inquiry is underway to explore all angles. The body has been sent to RG Kar Medical College and Hospital for post-mortem examination.
Srinjoy’s Support for His Mother’s Marriage
This heartbreaking event comes after Rinku Majumdar recently married Dilip Ghosh. Srinjoy, who was from Majumdar’s previous marriage, had expressed his full support for his mother’s decision. He had stated after the wedding, which garnered considerable attention in Kolkata, ‘I am happy, very content. I had supported my mother in her decision to marry and will continue to support her always.’
A Missing Presence at the Wedding
Srinjoy, who worked at an IT company in Salt Lake, was unfortunately out of town at the time of his mother’s wedding and couldn’t attend the ceremony.
