Terrorists Trapped, Gunfight Erupts in Kishtwar

Kishtwar, Jammu and Kashmir – A fierce gunfight erupted in the Singhpora area of Chatroo in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kishtwar district on Thursday morning. Security forces are locked in a battle with a group of terrorists believed to be from the Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) organization.

The encounter began after a joint operation by the Jammu and Kashmir Police, the Indian Army, and paramilitary forces cordoned off the area. According to police sources, three to four terrorists are believed to be trapped within the cordon.
