Tensions Escalate Between India and Pakistan After Deadly Terror Attack

Another Ceasefire Violation: India-Pakistan Tensions Soar
\
Tensions between India and Pakistan are at an all-time high after a horrific attack on civilians in Kashmir, and things just got worse. Pakistani troops have fired across the Line of Control (LoC), the de facto border between the two countries, for the second night in a row. This comes just days after a deadly attack on tourists in Pahalgam, where 26 civilians were killed.
\
The Indian Army says Pakistani troops opened fire at Indian posts, and they responded appropriately. Thankfully, there were no casualties on either side. But this latest incident just adds fuel to the fire.
\
The ceasefire violations are part of a larger escalation after the Pahalgam massacre. India has already taken some harsh measures, including suspending the Indus Water Treaty, which governs the sharing of water resources between the two countries. They’ve also pulled their diplomats from Pakistan and stopped visa services. Pakistan has responded in kind, suspending all bilateral agreements with India and closing the Wagah Border, a popular tourist destination.
\
India is vowing to punish the perpetrators of the Pahalgam attack, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that Indian troops will pursue them to the ends of the earth. The attack was claimed by the Resistance Front (TRF), a group linked to the Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT).
\
The situation remains tense, and the world is watching closely to see how this conflict will unfold.
