Pakistani Ranger Caught Near Rajasthan Border

The Border Security Force (BSF) has apprehended a Pakistani Ranger along the India-Pakistan border in Rajasthan, according to official sources. This incident comes just a couple of weeks after a BSF jawan was apprehended by the Rangers. Tensions have been high between the two countries ever since the tragic terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, where 26 people, mostly tourists, lost their lives.

According to reports, the Pakistani Ranger is now in the custody of the Rajasthan frontier of the BSF. Earlier, on April 23rd, a BSF jawan, Purnam Kumar Sahu, was taken into custody by the Rangers near the international border in Punjab. Despite strong protests from the Indian side, the Rangers have refused to release him.
