Pakistan PM Promises Retaliation Following India’s Attack

Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif vowed to avenge the victims of an alleged Indian airstrike, escalating tensions between the two nuclear-armed neighbors.
Sharif’s statement came in response to an Indian military operation across the Line of Control (LoC), the de facto border separating Indian-controlled and Pakistani-controlled Kashmir. India claimed the operation targeted a terrorist launchpad, while Pakistan denounced it as an unprovoked act of aggression.
Tensions have been high between India and Pakistan for decades, with both countries accusing each other of supporting militant groups operating in the disputed region of Kashmir. This latest incident marks a significant escalation in the already tense relationship.
