Things are getting really heated between India and Pakistan. Recently, a Pakistani minister, Hanif Abbasi, made some very serious threats. He claimed that Pakistan’s missiles, including some equipped with nuclear warheads, are all pointed at India.

Abbasi was reacting to India’s decision to suspend the Indus Waters Treaty, which governs the sharing of water from the Indus River. This move came after a deadly terror attack in Indian-controlled Kashmir, which India blamed on a Pakistan-based group.

The minister basically said that if India cuts off Pakistan’s water supply, they should be ready for war. He even boasted about Pakistan’s nuclear arsenal, saying nobody knows where the weapons are stored.

This isn’t the only action Pakistan has taken. They’ve closed their airspace to Indian airlines and threatened to ditch the Simla Agreement, which defines the border between the two countries.

India has also taken some tough measures, including suspending visas for Pakistani citizens and downgrading diplomatic relations. They’ve also said they’re prepared to fight back against any economic retaliation from Pakistan.

The situation is very tense right now, and it’s unclear what will happen next. But these threats from Pakistan are definitely raising alarm bells around the world.
