Pakistan Breaks Ceasefire, Explosions Rock Indian Cities, Blacouts Imposed

Pakistan Violates Ceasefire, Explosions Rock Indian Cities
Hours after India and Pakistan agreed to a ceasefire, Pakistan violated the pact, sparking explosions in Srinagar. In response, Indian authorities swiftly imposed blackouts in several border cities, including Ambala, Udhampur, and Amritsar.
Videos circulating on social media from these cities show streets plunged into darkness. Authorities have begun lifting blackouts in some areas, but the situation remains tense.
Drone Sightings and Rising Tensions
The ceasefire violation comes after reports of drones spotted in various parts of India, including Jammu and Kashmir, Gujarat’s Kutch region, Punjab, and Rajasthan. This latest incident has heightened already strained relations between the two nations.
Terms of the Ceasefire
Earlier today, India and Pakistan confirmed a ceasefire agreement, stating that all military action on land, air, and sea would be halted, effective immediately. However, India clarified that the Indus Water Treaty would remain suspended, along with a ban on visas.
Confirmation from Officials
India’s Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri announced the ceasefire decision, stating that it followed a direct conversation between military officials from both countries.
