Owaisi Slams Pakistan for Pahalgam Attack, Compares Them to ISIS

Owaisi’s Strong Condemnation of Pakistan
\
AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi didn’t mince words when criticizing Pakistan for the recent horrific terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam that claimed the lives of 26 innocent people. Speaking at a public gathering in Maharashtra’s Parbhani, Owaisi directly accused Pakistan of acting like ISIS, highlighting the brutality of the attack and the targeting of civilians on Indian soil.
\
Nuclear Power Shouldn’t Mean Killing Innocents
\
Owaisi pointed out the hypocrisy of Pakistan, which boasts about being a nuclear power but then engages in killing innocent people. He emphasized that no nation will remain silent when terrorists cross its borders and attack its citizens. He questioned what ‘deen’ (religion) Pakistan claims to uphold when its actions are so violent and discriminatory.

A Deadly Terror Incident
\
The April 22nd attack in the picturesque Baisaran meadow near Pahalgam was one of the deadliest in the valley since the 2019 Pulwama attack. The terrorists targeted mostly tourists, leaving a trail of devastation and grief.

India’s Response and Rising Tensions
\
In the wake of the attack, India has taken a firm stance against Pakistan. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has taken over the probe, meticulously questioning eyewitnesses to unravel the entire sequence of events. Meanwhile, India suspended the Indus Waters Treaty, closed the Attari border check post, revoked Pakistani visas, and increased military preparedness.

Pakistan’s Stance
\
Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has offered a “neutral investigation” into the Pahalgam attack but asserts that Pakistan’s armed forces are ready to defend their country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
