Operation Sindoor : India Strikes Terror Camps: Army Says Kasab, Headley Training Sites Destroyed

Historic Joint Operation Targets Terror Infrastructure
In a significant development following the tragic Pahalgam attack, India launched a joint operation involving its Army, Navy, and Air Force. Codenamed ‘Operation Sindoor’, the operation targeted nine locations across Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir at 1:44 am last night.
The Indian Army announced that these locations were being used by terror groups to plan and execute attacks. Notably, the strikes were carried out in response to the Pahalgam attack on April 22nd, where 26 innocent civilians lost their lives.
Operation Sindoor: A Tribute to the Victims
The operation’s name, ‘Operation Sindoor’, holds a powerful meaning. It is a tribute to the women who tragically lost their husbands in the Pahalgam attack. Sindoor, a traditional red powder worn by married women in India, symbolizes their enduring love and sacrifice.
Targeting Key Terror Infrastructure
According to the Indian Army, the targeted locations were identified as training camps and logistical hubs used by terror groups. It’s been revealed that these camps were linked to notorious terrorists like Ajmal Kasab, who was involved in the 2008 Mumbai attacks, and David Headley, a key conspirator in the same attacks.
Pakistan Links Exposed
The Indian government has firmly established Pakistani involvement in the planning and execution of the Pahalgam attack. This has led to a strong condemnation of the attack by the international community, putting pressure on Pakistan to take action against terror groups operating within its borders.
