India Takes Global Stand Against Terrorism: All-Party Delegation to Expose Pakistan

India Assembles All-Party Delegation to Combat Terrorism on Global Stage
In a significant move, the Indian government is forming an all-party delegation to travel internationally and expose Pakistan-sponsored terrorism. This diplomatic offensive comes in the wake of Operation Sindoor, a retaliatory action launched following a terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam.
Bringing Together Political Fronts
Notably, the government has extended invitations to MPs from various political parties, including opposition members, to participate in this mission. This inclusive approach reflects a united front against terrorism, transcending political differences.
While the exact composition and itinerary are still under wraps, sources indicate that over 30 MPs could be part of the delegation. They are expected to visit multiple countries over a 10-day period, assigned to different regional blocs as directed by the government.
Shashi Tharoor Joins the Delegation
Congress leader Shashi Tharoor, who recently responded to his party’s concerns regarding the delegation, has been named as a member. His inclusion adds weight to the delegation’s credibility and signals a willingness to engage across the political spectrum.
Extensive Preparations Underway
The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) is meticulously preparing for the delegation’s departure. MPs will receive a detailed briefing on their diplomatic mission before they embark on their journey.
Sources have revealed that prominent figures from across the political landscape, including BJP’s Anurag Thakur and Aparajita Sarangi, and Congress’s Manish Tewari, Salman Khurshid, and Amar Singh, have been approached and are expected to participate.
A Concerted Effort Against Terrorism
The formation of this all-party delegation underscores India’s unwavering commitment to combating terrorism on a global scale. By exposing Pakistan’s alleged involvement in sponsoring terrorist activities, India aims to garner international support and pressure for a decisive response.
