Rajnath Singh Salutes Indian Air Force at Bhuj Airbase

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh visited the Bhuj airbase in Gujarat, a day after meeting Army personnel in Srinagar, to celebrate the Indian Air Force’s (IAF) swift and decisive action against terror in Pakistan.

‘Made in India’ Brahmos Missile Showed Pakistan ‘Daylight in Darkness’

Addressing air warriors at the base, Singh hailed the IAF for their valour and courage, particularly in Operation Sindoor, which he said sent a clear message to terror groups and their sponsors in Pakistan. He emphasized the effectiveness of the ‘Made in India’ BrahMos missile, stating that it brought ‘daylight in darkness’ for Pakistan.

23-Minute Strike Demonstrated India’s Power

Singh highlighted the swiftness of the operation, saying, “Just 23 minutes were enough for the Indian Air Force to crush terrorism being nurtured in Pakistan.” He expressed pride in the IAF’s precision strikes and emphasized that the operation demonstrated India’s unwavering resolve against terrorism.

Rajnath Singh’s Visit to Srinagar and Bhuj

Singh’s visit to Bhuj follows his meeting with Army personnel in Srinagar, where he expressed India’s firm stance against terrorism, particularly in light of Pakistan’s repeated nuclear threats. He reiterated Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s stance that talks with Pakistan can only occur on the issue of terrorism and the Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK).

Pakistan’s Nuclear Weapons Under Scrutiny

The Defence Minister also raised concerns about Pakistan’s nuclear arsenal, questioning their safety in the hands of an irresponsible nation. He called for international supervision of Pakistan’s nuclear weapons by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).

India’s Commitment to Border Security

Singh assured the nation that India’s borders are secure, expressing confidence in the strength and dedication of the armed forces. He paid tribute to the soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice in Operation Sindoor and commended those who were injured.
