High Alert: India Shoots Down Pakistani Missiles & Drones Targeting Jammu

India Foils Pakistani Attack on Jammu
India’s air defence systems successfully intercepted eight missiles and drones launched by Pakistan targeting multiple locations in Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday evening. The incident comes amidst India’s ongoing counter-terrorism operation, ‘Operation Sindoor,’ aimed at Pakistan-backed militancy.
According to defence sources, the missiles were fired at various locations in the Jammu region, including Satwari, Samba, RS Pura, and Arnia. All eight missiles were intercepted by the Indian Air Defence.
A Tense Situation in Jammu
The attack triggered a wave of fear and panic in Jammu. Sirens wailed across the region as residents were alerted to the incoming threat, followed by a complete blackout enforced across the city. A similar blackout was also implemented in Amritsar, Punjab, as a precautionary measure.
To enhance security, the Indian government has ordered 100% pre-boarding checks for all flyers at all airports.
Internet services have been temporarily suspended across Jammu and Kashmir to prevent the spread of misinformation and maintain public order.
