Fake Border Tension Advisory Spreading Online

There’s a fake advisory making the rounds online, claiming there’s tension at the India-Pakistan border and urging people to stock up on supplies like cash, fuel, and medicine. Authorities have stepped in to say it’s completely made up and are asking people to ignore it.

The fake advisory even gives a pretty specific list of things people should get ready, like having Rs 50,000 in cash, a full tank of gas, two months’ worth of medicine, and backup power.

It looks official, but it doesn’t have any real logos, government names, or any way to tell if it’s actually from a real authority. It’s designed to scare people and make them think something bad is happening.

The Indian government, security agencies, and disaster management teams all say this advisory isn’t from them. If you see it, don’t share it!

Remember, spreading this kind of fake news, especially when things are already tense, can be really dangerous. It’s important to check information from official sources like government websites, press releases, or trusted news outlets.
