Ex-Pakistani Officer Makes Bombshell Claim About Pahalgam Attack

A former Pakistani army officer has made a shocking claim, alleging that the deadly Pahalgam terror attack, which killed 26 people, was ordered by Pakistan Army Chief General Asim Munir.
\
Adil Raza, a retired army officer, posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, saying he had information from high-ranking Pakistani intelligence sources confirming Munir’s involvement. He went on to say that the attack was a personal act by General Munir and his accomplices within the military.
\
This accusation comes at a time when Pakistan is already facing heavy criticism from the international community for the attack. The attackers reportedly targeted tourists in Pahalgam, asking them about their religion before opening fire, raising serious concerns about the violence’s communal nature.
\
The Pahalgam attack is the deadliest in the Kashmir Valley since the 2019 Pulwama attack, which also targeted Indian security forces.
\
In response to India’s strong reaction to the Pahalgam attack, Pakistan has taken several retaliatory measures, including shutting down the Wagah border, closing Pakistani airspace to Indian airlines, and reducing the number of Indian diplomats in Islamabad.
\
Pakistan’s Prime Minister, Shahbaz Sharif, has also stated that India is creating a “war-like atmosphere” in the region.
