BSF Takes Action Against Unprovoked Firing from Pakistan
The Border Security Force (BSF) announced on Saturday, May 10, 2025, that it had successfully destroyed a terrorist launchpad in Pakistan in retaliation for unprovoked firing across the International Border. The launchpad was located in Looni, within Sialkot district, directly opposite the Akhnoor area in Jammu.
According to a BSF spokesperson, the incident began on Friday night when Pakistan initiated the firing on BSF posts in the Jammu sector around 9 pm. The BSF responded with proportionate force, inflicting significant damage on Pakistani Rangers posts and assets along the international boundary.
The spokesperson emphasized the BSF’s unwavering commitment to safeguarding India’s sovereignty, stating, ‘Our resolve to protect India’s sovereignty is unshaken.’
