Bengaluru Submerged After Record Rainfall
City Breaches 100mm Mark for Second Time in a Decade
Bengaluru is dealing with widespread flooding following a deluge of rain overnight. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) reported that the city received a staggering 105.5 mm of rainfall by 8:30 am on Monday. This amount of rainfall in a single day is a rare occurrence, with Bengaluru only surpassing the 100 mm mark twice in the past decade.
