Triumph Scrambler T4 Spied Testing Again

Looks like Triumph is gearing up to launch a more affordable version of its popular Scrambler 400X. This budget-friendly Scrambler, possibly called the ‘Scrambler T4’ (though Triumph might choose a different name for global markets), has been spotted testing both in India and abroad.

What We Know So Far

While Triumph hasn’t officially confirmed anything, spy shots reveal some interesting details about this upcoming motorcycle. It seems to be a stripped-down version of the Scrambler 400X, similar to how the Speed T4 is a more affordable option compared to the Speed 400.

Styling Changes

The test mule sports some notable changes compared to the Scrambler 400X. A new side body panel gives it a unique look, while a shorter windscreen and black USD forks add a more rugged aesthetic. It ditches the split seat design for a single-piece unit and lacks rubber tank pads, suggesting a focus on practicality and affordability.

Simpler Features

The rear section is completely redesigned with simpler tail lights and a rear pillion grabrail. The handlebar is also simpler, lacking brace pads. Knuckle guards are also missing, further emphasizing the stripped-down nature of this model.

Engine and Performance

The engine is likely to be the same as the Speed T4, a downtuned version of the Speed 400’s engine. This means we could see around 30.6 bhp of peak power and 36 Nm of torque, mated to a 6-speed gearbox.

What to Expect?

The Triumph Scrambler T4 (or whatever name it eventually gets) promises to be a more affordable and accessible entry point into the world of Triumph Scramblers. We can expect it to be a capable off-road motorcycle with a focus on practicality and a budget-friendly price tag.
