Stock Market Today: Positive Momentum Continues
The benchmark Nifty-50 index ended Thursday with a strong rebound, gaining 1.6% to close at 25,062.10. The Bank Nifty also saw a positive day, rising 1.01% to settle at 55,355.60. Sectors like Metals, Realty, Auto, IT, and Oil & Gas led the rally, contributing to the overall positive sentiment.
The broader market also participated in the upward movement, with small and mid-cap indices finishing 0.5% to 0.74% higher.
Trade Setup for Friday
Analysts suggest key support levels for the Nifty-50 at 24,900 and 24,750. Above these levels, the market is expected to continue its upward trend. However, a break below 24,750 could signal a potential reversal. Resistance levels are seen at 25,210–25,300.
For the Bank Nifty, immediate resistance is seen around 55,500, while major support lies at 53,480.
Global Cues and Q4 Earnings
Trump’s recent comments about zero tariffs have injected a fresh wave of optimism into Indian equities, further strengthening the bullish outlook. With the Nifty sustaining above 25,000, near-term momentum remains strong. However, upcoming earnings reports and global market cues could potentially test market resilience.
