No Paresh Rawal, No Hera Pheri 3: Suniel Shetty Stands Firm

Hera Pheri 3: A Comedy of Errors?
The highly anticipated ‘Hera Pheri 3’ has been hit by a major snag, with actor Paresh Rawal stepping down from the franchise. This news has sent shockwaves through Bollywood, especially after Suniel Shetty’s recent statement that the movie simply cannot happen without Paresh.
‘Hera Pheri’ – A Laughter Riot That Needs Babu Bhaiya
Known for its iconic trio of Raju, Shyam, and Babu Bhaiya, ‘Hera Pheri’ is a cornerstone of Bollywood comedy. Suniel Shetty, who plays the role of Shyam, is adamant that the film’s magic lies in the dynamic between the three characters, and Paresh’s absence would be sorely felt.
“It can have a 1 per cent chance without me and Akshay, but 100% can’t happen without Paresh ji,” Suniel told ANI. He further explained that the banter and conflict between Raju and Shyam, constantly being put down by Babu Bhaiya, are essential to the franchise’s humor.
A Shocking Exit
Suniel himself was surprised by Paresh Rawal’s decision. He revealed to India Today that he was unaware of the situation until his children informed him. The news came as a shock, leaving Suniel feeling bewildered and disappointed.
Meanwhile, director Priyadarshan has expressed his confusion, stating that he had not received any communication from Paresh about his exit. He also confirmed that Akshay Kumar, who plays Raju, had made sure both Paresh and Suniel were on board before the film commenced.
Legal Action on the Horizon?
Reports suggest that Akshay Kumar, who has invested heavily in ‘Hera Pheri 3’, may take legal action against Paresh Rawal. This development adds another layer of complexity to the already tangled situation, leaving the future of the film uncertain.
