Kangana Ranaut: From Bollywood to Hollywood Horror
Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut is taking her star power to Hollywood! Ranaut will make her international film debut in the psychological horror drama, *Blessed Be The Evil*. This movie, produced by US-based Lions Movies, marks a big step forward in Ranaut’s career.
Star-Studded Cast
The film boasts a cast that blends Hollywood and Bollywood talent. Ranaut will be sharing the screen with Tyler Posey, known for his role in *Teen Wolf*, and Scarlet Rose Stallone, daughter of action legend Sylvester Stallone. Anurag Rudra (director and co-writer) and Gatha Tiwary (co-writer) are at the helm of this chilling project.
A Chilling Story
*Blessed Be The Evil* explores the story of a Christian couple struggling to cope with the loss of their child. They seek solace by purchasing an abandoned farm, but they soon discover the property has a dark history. A malevolent force begins to torment them, testing their faith and love.
Inspired by Folklore
Director Anurag Rudra shared the inspiration behind the film, stating, “Being born and spending my childhood in rural India, I was told stories that got embedded in my mind and heart. This folklore was so special that I truly believed in all the stories, and wanted to showcase them internationally through the art of cinema – the strongest and most beautiful way to connect to dreams and reality.”
Production Underway
Fans won’t have to wait long to see Ranaut on the big screen in Hollywood. Production for *Blessed Be The Evil* is set to begin this summer in New York City.
