Is Bobby’s Mega Project Facing Funding Roadblocks?
Why No One’s Jumping On Board Bobby’s Mega-Star Project
\
You’d think a movie with a big-time star like Chiranjeevi and a director like Bobby, known for hits like Waltair Veeraiah and Daku Maharaj, would have producers lining up. But so far, silence. What’s going on?
\
Rumors say Bobby first approached Mythri Movies, but they’re swamped with other projects. And surprisingly, DVV Danayya, another big producer, hasn’t been mentioned either – maybe he’s waiting to see how his own film, OG, does.
\
Even People’s Media, known for taking risks, seems hesitant. There are whispers that producers are worried about Bobby’s history of projects going over budget. It’s a reputation Bobby needs to address.
\
The Costly Collaboration
\
Making a movie with either Balayya or Chiranjeevi would cost about the same. But Chiranjeevi’s fee is a whopping Rs 70 crore, compared to Balayya’s Rs 30 crore. That’s a huge difference! Add in the fact that Chiranjeevi’s daughter is also producing, and the expenses skyrocket even further.
\
Will Marketing Success Change Things?
\
There’s another factor at play: the marketing of Bobby’s recent film, Vishwambhara, starring Anil Ravipudi, is still uncertain. Producers might want to see how that film performs before committing to another big project.
\
Looking Forward
\
If things go well for Vishwambhara, the market stabilizes, and Bobby proves he can stick to a budget, producers might start coming forward. Otherwise, Chiranjeevi might have to consider a profit-sharing model with no upfront payment – something that could make producers more eager to jump on board.
