Fawad Khan’s Songs Pulled From YouTube After Terror Attack in India

Fawad Khan’s Songs Removed Amidst Boycott Calls
Following a deadly terror attack in Pahalgam, India, songs from Fawad Khan and Vaani Kapoor’s upcoming film, ‘Abir Gulaal,’ have been taken down from YouTube. The songs, ‘Khudaaya Ishq’ and ‘Angrezi Rangrasiya,’ were released earlier this month but were removed from both the film’s official channel and Saregama’s channel on April 25th.
This move comes after a wave of online criticism against the collaboration between Indian and Pakistani artists in light of the tragic incident. A planned release of a new song ‘Tain Tain’ was also postponed. The Pahalgam attack, which took place on April 22nd, claimed the lives of 26 tourists and left many injured.
Fawad Khan, who stars in ‘Abir Gulaal,’ publicly condemned the attack on social media, expressing his sorrow and offering condolences to the victims and their families.
Adding to the controversy, a report by PTI stated that ‘Abir Gulaal’ will not be permitted to release in India due to the attack. The film also features Lisa Haydon, Riddhi Dogra, Farida Jalal, Soni Razdan, and Parmeet Sethi.
