Cassie Ventura Takes the Stand in Diddy’s Sex Trafficking Case

Diddy’s Defense Seeks to Paint Cassie Ventura as a Willing Participant
The defense team for Sean Combs, known as Diddy, continues to question Cassie Ventura, his former partner, in an attempt to portray her as a willing participant in alleged sex trafficking activities.
During cross-examination, defense lawyer Estevao scrutinized early communications between Ventura and Combs, highlighting a message where Ventura described deleting a video as ‘dope.’ When pressed about the nature of the video, Ventura firmly denied ever wanting these encounters, known as ‘freak-offs,’ recorded.
Estevao also confirmed that Combs appeared in the videos, a detail the defense likely intends to use to support their theory that Ventura had agency and chose to participate.
Prosecution Faces the Challenge of Countering the Defense Narrative
The prosecution now faces the difficult task of redirecting the narrative during their questioning. They must convince jurors that Ventura did not willingly participate in these encounters, as they allege Combs coerced her and male escorts into performing sex acts.
