AR Rahman Ordered to Pay Rs 2 Crore

Renowned music composer AR Rahman has been ordered by the Delhi High Court to pay Rs 2 crore as part of a copyright dispute. This comes after singer Faiyaz Wasifuddin Dagar filed a case alleging that a song from the blockbuster movie *Ponniyin Selvan 2* infringed on his copyright.

According to reports from Thanthi TV, the court ruled in favor of Dagar and instructed Rahman to deposit the amount with the court registrar’s office.
