Apple Makes a Change in its Robotics Division

Apple is making some big changes to its robotics department. They’ve decided to move the secret robotics unit away from John Giannandrea, the head of artificial intelligence. This comes after Apple has faced some challenges with its AI efforts.

Sources say that later this month, the robotics team will be moved from Giannandrea’s AI organization to the hardware division. They’ll now report to John Ternus, a senior vice president who’s in charge of hardware engineering. Apple hasn’t officially announced this change yet.
