The Indiana Pacers are one win away from reaching the 2025 NBA Finals after a dominating performance in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals. They defeated the New York Knicks 130-121, taking a commanding 3-1 lead in the series.

Pacers on the Brink of History

If the Pacers win Game 5 on Thursday, they’ll clinch their first trip to the NBA Finals since 2000, marking a significant milestone for the franchise. Interestingly, they also beat the Knicks in the Eastern Conference Finals that year, making this a potential repeat of history.

Haliburton’s Historic Performance

Tyrese Haliburton was the star of the show for Indiana, putting up a remarkable performance with 32 points, 15 assists, and 12 rebounds. This incredible feat makes him only the third player ever to achieve 30 points, 15 assists, 10 rebounds, and zero turnovers in a game since individual turnovers were first tracked in 1977-78. More impressively, he’s the first to do so in the playoffs!

Pascal Siakam also contributed significantly with 30 points, while Bennedict Mathurin provided a spark off the bench, scoring 20 points.

Knicks Fight Back, But Fall Short

The Knicks were led by Jalen Brunson, who scored 31 points. Karl-Anthony Towns and OG Anunoby added 24 and 22 points respectively, but their efforts weren’t enough to overcome the Pacers’ dominant performance.
