Trisha Krishnan Addresses Age Gap with Kamal Haasan, Calls Mani Ratnam Reunion ‘Magical’

There’s a buzz surrounding the upcoming film ‘Thug Life,’ a collaboration between legendary director Mani Ratnam and iconic star Kamal Haasan. The reunion has thrilled fans, but some have raised eyebrows about the 28-year age gap between Haasan and his co-star, Trisha Krishnan. However, Krishnan isn’t fazed by the criticism.

During a pre-release event for ‘Thug Life’ in Mumbai, Krishnan addressed the concerns head-on. ‘I think that’s something I knew when they announced the film, and I had not even signed it,’ she said. ‘So that’s when I knew, Wow, this is magic. And I was not even part of the film at that point in time.’

Krishnan went on to describe the set atmosphere as electric, filled with awe and admiration for both Ratnam and Haasan. ‘All of us as actors, we were like, Oh damn, we have to do some work here. We’ve got to stop staring at them,’ she shared. ‘So it was magic.’
