Tata Altroz Facelift Makes a Grand Entrance

The 2025 Tata Altroz has officially shed its veil, boasting a refreshed design and a host of exciting new features. Set to hit the market on May 22, 2025, this update marks a significant milestone for the popular hatchback.

Style Gets a Boost

The facelift brings noticeable design changes, starting with a brand new grille and striking twin-pod projector LED headlights with daytime running lights (DRLs). The front bumper has been redesigned for a sportier look, featuring a larger air intake and new LED fog lamps.

The Altroz now rolls on newly designed 16-inch alloy wheels and sports flush-type door handles with illuminated fronts, a first for its class.

At the rear, connected LED tail lamps and a revised bumper, with the reverse light relocated below the number plate, add a modern touch.

A Luxurious Interior

Inside, the 2025 Altroz embraces a fresh theme with beige upholstery. The dashboard gets subtle tweaks, including an illuminated steering wheel, gloss black plastics, and white ambient lighting.

Touch-based controls now handle the AC functions, and the automatic variants get an updated gear lever.

Tech-Savvy Features

The Altroz facelift is packed with cutting-edge features, including dual 10.25-inch displays – one for the infotainment system and the other for the instrument cluster.

Other notable features include:

  • Auto AC with rear vents
  • A single-pane sunroof
  • Cruise control
  • Wireless phone charger
  • Ambient lighting
  • Push-button start/stop
  • Air purifier
  • Connected car technology

Safety First

Safety remains paramount, with six airbags as standard, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, rear parking sensors, and a 360-degree camera.

Powertrain Options

The facelifted Altroz is expected to retain its existing powertrain options:

  • 1.2-litre Naturally Aspirated Petrol
  • 1.2-litre Turbo-petrol (Altroz Racer)
  • 1.5-litre Diesel
  • 1.2-litre CNG

Pricing and Competition

The 2025 Altroz facelift is anticipated to be priced slightly higher than the current model, which starts at Rs 6.65 lakh (ex-showroom).

It will continue to face competition from popular hatchbacks like the Maruti Baleno, Hyundai i20, and Toyota Glanza.
