India Strikes Back: PM Modi Vows ‘Zero Tolerance’ Against Terror

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation on Monday, following Operation Sindoor, India’s recent retaliatory strikes against terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan.
In his speech, Modi lauded the Indian armed forces for their decisive action, stating that they were given complete freedom to target terrorist camps.
Operation Sindoor Unmasks Pakistan’s Terror Support
Modi highlighted the presence of uniformed Pakistani military officers at the funeral of a terrorist as evidence of state-sponsored terrorism. He stated unequivocally that “This is not the era of war, but also not the era of terrorism,” emphasizing India’s unwavering commitment to a “zero tolerance” policy towards terrorism.
He stressed that Pakistan must dismantle its terrorist infrastructure if it wishes to survive, warning that its current support for terrorism will ultimately lead to its downfall.
The Prime Minister detailed the impact of Operation Sindoor, stating that Indian missiles and drones not only destroyed terrorist complexes but also shattered their resolve. He claimed that over 100 terrorists were killed in the strikes, effectively dismantling the headquarters of terrorism.
Pakistan’s Retaliation Foiled
Modi also recounted Pakistan’s attempt to retaliate against India, targeting schools, colleges, temples, and gurdwaras. He asserted that India’s air defense system successfully intercepted Pakistani drones and missiles, highlighting the strength of India’s defense capabilities.
India Stands United Against Terrorism
Modi concluded his address by emphasizing the unity of the nation and the world in the face of terrorism. He underscored that the Pahalgam attack, which prompted Operation Sindoor, has served as a catalyst for a collective stand against terror. He reaffirmed India’s commitment to safeguarding its people and its sovereignty.
