IAF Carries Out Precision Strikes on Terror Targets in Pakistan

IAF Strikes Terror Camps in Pakistan Under Operation Sindoor
In a swift and precise operation, the Indian Air Force (IAF) targeted nine terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir on the night of May 6-7. This action, codenamed Operation Sindoor, comes in retaliation to the recent Pahalgam terror attack.
Targeted Strikes with Precision Ammunition
Government sources revealed that the IAF employed its frontline fighter jets, including Rafale, Su-30 MKI, and Mirage 2000, to carry out the strikes. The operation was executed in a mere 25 minutes, between 1:05 am and 1:30 am.
To ensure pinpoint accuracy, the IAF utilized sophisticated weaponry. The Spice-2000 bomb, an Israeli-developed guided bomb known for its precision, was deployed, as was the SCALP missile. SCALP missiles, capable of striking targets up to 250 kilometers away, were launched by Rafale jets while remaining within Indian territory.
Collaborative Effort Between Air Force and Army
The Indian Army also participated in the operation, targeting seven Pakistani terror camps using artillery guns and drones. This collaborative effort highlights the coordinated response of the Indian armed forces to counter terrorism.
Targets Selected with Intelligence and Care
The nine terror camps targeted were strategically selected based on reliable intelligence. Authorities emphasized that the chosen locations were carefully considered to minimize the risk of civilian casualties.
Operation Sindoor: A Show of Strength
Operation Sindoor demonstrates India’s unwavering resolve to combat terrorism and protect its citizens. The precise and swift execution of the strikes sends a strong message to those who threaten India’s security.
