The Directorate of Government Examinations, Tamil Nadu (DGE) has officially announced the results for the Higher Secondary Certificate Examination (HSE +2), also known as the Tamil Nadu Class 12th Examination, for the academic year 2024-2025. The results were made available online on May 8, 2025, at 9 AM.
Record-Breaking Pass Percentage
A total of 7,92,494 students appeared for the exam, and a whopping 7,53,142 students have successfully cleared it, resulting in an impressive overall pass percentage of 95.03%.
Girls Continue to Excel
Girls have once again proven their academic prowess, with a pass percentage of 96.7% compared to 93.16% for boys. This reflects the continued progress and achievements of female students in Tamil Nadu.
How to Check Your Results
Students can easily access their results online through the official websites:

- Visit either dge.tn.gov.in or tnresults.nic.in.
- Click on the “HSE (+2) March 2025 result” link.
- Enter your roll number and date of birth.
- Click on the ‘Submit’ button.
- Your TN 12th result 2025 will be displayed on the screen.
- Download the marksheet and print a copy for your records.

Once you download your result, make sure to carefully review the following information:
